    ... in Austria now, and does so because she is a snowboard instructor in the winter and an avid all things adventurer. She only manages apartments to pay the bills.

    Anyway, she gave us a lot of suggestions about what we could do - some of them - like hiking to the top of the mountain were not in our wheelhouse - and some were great suggestions (like rafting and the pool).     ... up my bike by the seat and it came off, fortunately the attendant came to help but considering the car is still moving as it does as you get on and off it was a crazy couple of minutes but mission accomplished.As it turned out, it was a huge lift and the 1/2hr the others thought they would take to ride up, turned into nearly 2hrs.     ... to the place.

    Back on the mainland, we decided it was so nice that we would stay for dinner. There was a
    festival on at the shoreline with tents and live music so we decided to take in the surroundings with a beer and some BBQ chicken and chips. It was the perfect way to end the day and magical to see the mountains fade in the falling light and turn into silhouettes. We didn’t have long to drive into the mountains to our hotel called Prinzregent in Marquartstein.
