Even genieten aan een skipiste
Op mijn terugweg besloot ik een ommetje te maken naar een skipiste in Krispl op een hoogte van 926m. Het weer was te mooi on direct naar huis te rijden. Ik heb daar heerlijk genoten van een warme choco met slagroom op het terras. Jammer dat aan alle mooie liedjes ook een einde moest komen. Maar tja, het was weer een heel leuke dag.

Op zoek naar zout
Zoutwinning is belangrijk in deze omgeving. Het is ook niet voor niets dat de naam Salzburg daar uit afstamt. De oorspronkelijk mijnen liggen op het grondgebied Hallein beter op de berg Bad Dürrnberg.
Onderweg kwam ik nog een dam tegen, Te mooi om zomaar voorbij te rijden.

Een wandeling op een MTB route
Op een zondag is alles gesloten en er was ook nog eens veel regen voorspeld, dus ik vertrok toch maar heel vroeg [het regende toen nog niet] om met de hond een wandeling te maken in de natuur. Onze tocht ging naar Lämmerbach in Hintersee.
Het was deze keer een behoorlijk platte wandeling en ze was uiterst geschikt voor MTB. Er waren geen spectaculaire vergezichten of ook geen meren, ...

... anyway.....she is 23 and reminds us of our own children so much....especially the time she spends on her iPhone and her complaints about how steep the mountain was.....there were three stages up the trail alongside the waterfall....each lookout point was just as spectacular.....the sheer volume of water cascading down the mountain was breathtaking.....we were so pleased Nema and her husband Pander made it to the top.....Nikki was so excited she was first to the top and wanted ...
Not The Top Of The World
... tunnel.....at the end the glass observation complex looked out over the Alps and to the 3029 meter summit......they also had a platform which jutted out from the complex...straight towards to alps....and of course one section of the floor was mesh .....so you could see the sheer drop below your feet....the wind gusted with such intensity that you thought that at any minute you were going to be at the bottom of those 3029 metres and the wind chill froze ...
