Business Stop

Here is the AHT building in the tiny town of Rottenmann, Austria, about halfway between Salzburg and our next stop Vienna (Wien in German).

We met with the president of AHT USA who gave us a tour of the freezer factory and discussed with us the possibility of exporting our cart business to Europe.

Later in the trip we are also trying to arrange a meeting with AHT's operations in England.
ah Vienna

oh oh oh this is the most beautiful place. We picked up big Mama our motorhome and she is very big - like a bus. No really like a bus. Graham will be driving. We drove from Munich to Vienna in about 6 hours and then slept for 11 hours. Today we went into the city by bus and train and then went on a tour in a horse drawn carriage - just the best thing. Then we had a schnitzel and next to us was a man with the best looking German Shepherd - so we have Inspector Rex on duty!! Then we walk ...

... among others; for Rich the Dusts. All of these people migrated to the United States during the mid-to-late nineteenth century. Since that time, the world has witnessed two great wars and the dawn of technologies including electricity, commercial flight, and the internet to name just a few. These developments among many others have fundamentally changed the ways we do business, the ways we communicate with one another ...

Amazing Austria

Today was a very long day. We travelled to Austria on the coach and go in around 3pm. Had 5 minutes to change into bathers because I chose to go with 8 other people canyoning! It was amazing! Basically it involves jumping down waterfalls, climbing through rapids in canyons (the water is 10 degrees!) and going absailing. It was so scary! But I even managed to jump down a 7 meter waterfall! I was a little shaky but i only freaked out once. I was very ...

... a shot of Tabasco, seeing as they thought it was so amusing when I did it the night before. I got Scotty back, by stealing his chaser off him when he had his shot. So he then swiped to grab for my full beer and beer went everywhere:) Tonight was the night of our 80's party with another couple of Contiki groups. We all spent ages getting ready, but no one really had any 80's clothes, so it turned into more of a cross dress party for the guys, and the girls went all out with the hair and ...

Ski bums and krazy kangaroos...St Anton

I wake suddenly from a nightmare which is so vivid and strange that i sit for a while contemplating its meaning ..outside clouds hover over the majestic peaks of Rendl and a damp mist clings to the slopes...now largely green. Fang chair lies stationary...like an old ghost train....the streets previously buzzing with the early morning hardcore skiers ...are now empty except for a few locals. ...so unlike the snow covered ski village I'd driven into some several months ago ...

I missed skiurlaub (skiholiday) season

I am now in St. Johann, Tirol and staying at the St. Johann Hof Hotel for yet another business trip. Being from California, the ski season has been over and gone for a while now and I was surprised upon my arrival that it just finished in the Alps of Austria. What a shame because I love to ski. I think that next time I will have to let my boss know to send me there during the ...
