Woke up a bit tired from jet lag and traveling. Met in the hotel lobby at 7:15 am had breakfast at the hotel and departed for the day. Took our bus to Moutarderie Fallot, a mustard factory in Beaune. That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp! The next morning we decided we needed to walk the old city in daylight to see the walled town. Where the moat used to be is children's playground, nothing that would pass Canadian safety standards but the kids sure looked like they were having fun. The Schloss was built in 1807 and is still used as a hotel and conference centre.
