12-20deg, fine and sunny with a little cloud in the afternoon. Left the motel at 7:35am in brilliant sunshine but a cool 12deg. A slight tailwind most of the way pushed us along the northern shore of Lake Zurich nicely. Day 282 2 hrs, 5 kms Dalais is another peaceful little village, built partly in the valley floor, and partly up the grassy slopes. ... s a whole network of trails up the mountainside, some catering to farmers who grow grass on the higher slopes, others cater to hikers. The higher I go, the better view I get of the valley, cliffs, forests, high mountain peaks, stretching on to the east and the west.

Finally I reach the trail that goes up to the base of the falls. I figure there's no point in hauling my backpack up, since I'm coming back the same way. And nobody steals anything here in the Alps... right?... ...
