I managed to get into a few outdoor/ski stores and like most Austrian valleys the stores are stuffed with quality gear for summer and winter. And for the geography interested readers the end of the valley holds the only skiable glacier that is open 365 days a year for alpine skiing. The other aspect of this cultural immersion is I have not thought about the Oilers once. That has been healthy for my blood pressure.
