    ... today had its hottest July day ever and Venice was stifling by the time I arrived mid-morning. So today’s travel dragging suitcases around with a train change in Verona was very uncomfortable. Even Innsbruck which is surrounded by mountains was over 30c when I arrived this afternoon.

    ... joined group who cabled back down then walked, not easy for half of the track of about 8 kms , fantastic experience , weather and most times I managed to keep up, then we cabled a section back in a four seater then a steep descent into a town via a two seater, drink and ice cream time, bus back to our local village then a 20 min wait for our bus, Certainly got value from six day cable pass ...

    ... perched on a high forested hill overlooking the entire area. It was a jaw dropping view and was everything we had seen while using Google to plan our trip. The Castle itself is spectacular and it was difficult to not take aimless photos so we parked the bike and paid our two euro parking fee as indicated to us by a rather stern looking attendant who used his two fingers to indicate the amount required.
