This morning we weren't all that unhappy to leave the sheridan arabella in munich as we weren't wearing the correct clothing, black cloth and head gear. We headed off to the castle of Neuschwanstein ( the castle they use in the beginning of Walt Disney ). Was good but guess what we have done the abc and not likely see another, they are beautiful but not our thing. Had lunch at ...

The glory of Bavaria.

This was my first experience ' training it' by day in Europe and boy had I been missing out. 1st class tickets are worth the extra cash and then some. We arrived at around 1pm, the place was packed, car parks were full etc. etc.

We got in the queue for tickets, and from our point there was a 40minute queue, and at that time the next available slots ...

A fairy tale castle

... after only one hundred and fifty days of living in it, and after that it was given to the German people as a museum. The first castle wasn't as spectacular from the outside but was amazing on the inside, the most elaborate ornate decorations and beautiful pieces of furniture. We made our way outside thinking we had heaps of time until the next tour, but what we didn't realise was that we had to line up for the bus for ...
