It was built in 1730 ten years after a farmer witnessed a statue oh Christ weeping. Millions of people each year make a pilgrimage to this beautiful and highly decorated Catholic Church.         ... was very dark all in dark oak. The rooms are much brighter in the brochure pics then they actually are.



        From the second floor the castle is not complete. It is used as a cafeteria and gift shop. There is also a viewing terrace with views of the valley across to Austria.
