We can start the day with quite some rolling down. We enjoy the morning's cold breeze. Enjoy the olive tree spotted landscape. It's getting more hilly and upon the last ascent to Covilha also more crowded with vehicles. Many empty apartments "vende-se" along the road.

In Guarda we encounter for the first time that hotel rooms are taken. We are successful at the third try ("Beira Serra", a quite run-down place, shower on the floor).
