    ... Most travellers away 6 to 8 weeks! Only watched gondolas, they bobbed around like corks some operators quite vocal when they bumped into each other. Lots photos. Still amazes us how many shops in dark narrow alleyways. At least no scooters or cars to dodge in these streets. Lots beggars felt so sorry for them but can't save them all!     ... walk, I found it!!! This afternoon on our way back to the boat for the final time we caught the transfer bus and we were absolutely packed in like sardines. I was standing next to a quite elderly american guy and i could feel my backpack pushing against the doors. Not far from stopping i had a look at the tracks as to how these doors opened and saw they slid behind me so that was cool.
