... of money. After we looked around the bridge we then had to go back to the train station. Where we caught a train from Florence back to Venice. After a very luxurious train ride we eventually reached Venice. When we arrived we hoped onto the next train ride to The Rialto stop. We then walked to our apartment and had a DELICIOUS dinner of scolopini and potatoes. ( yum) After we consumed this delightful meal we played some cards and went to ...

As it was going to be a 40 minute journey to the Fondamente Nove ferry stop, we would not arrive till 1530. Jane, Chris' classmate from high school, was only free from 1300-1500 to take us to her in-laws' apartment where we would be staying on the island. Instead, she sent her son, Charlie, to take us there. It was around the ...

    Snowy nativity and pissing dogs

It's the little details in these 15th & 16th century detailed masterpieces that are so engaging. The ******* dog in an otherwise pretty scene of bare naked ladies is a nice touch, I'm sure it's allegorical. Only Brueghel could imagine the nativity in a Flemish winter. I do notice how consistently ****** off Joseph looks in most paintings but then when yr wife gets knocked up and it's not yours and she claims it was an angel then I reckon he's entitled to a little ...
