Well, I enjoyed it, at least; the guys looked pretty annoyed. I haven't been able to get the song "Volare" out of my head since! We continued our stroll after dinner and stopped for gelato. So good! It was another perfect ...

We could see the volcano in the distance and it was smoking and people go to the crater of it.

Although the theatre itself has been modernised for use with a blue stage and plastic chairs - not cool.

We enjoyed our walk through Taormina's gardens.

It had lovely, well maintained, lush gardens and many interesting buildings that looked like treehouse temples.

We thought Taormina was high but we drove higher to another cute town called Castelmola.

... and then head up to the centre for lunch. So gorgeous by the pool, just gonna work on my tan. After an hour or so we were ready to take a break from tanning to go into the main centre for some lunch.. Just a light lunch for me today - caprese with a glass of wine. Then back for a stroll down the Main Street corso Umberto. Had to make a quick stop to get a gelato. We then caught a taxi back to the ...
