The house was only 200m from the beginning of all the walking trails that extend up to Monte Grappa. I had a ball walking and enjoying the countryside. It was sooooo steep but views amazing. The first night we arrived it snowed so that was a lovely welcome, great outlook in the morning and snow stayed in places on the mountain for the 4 days.

Today we left the island of Venice and boarded a bus to the Dolomites. After napping on and off we came into view of the huge mountains. They were big and rocky with snow caps.
