... we drive back it's getting late so we stop by the water in Almalfi and have something to eat. By the time we've eaten the rain has stopped and we're back in the car and along the winding roads, this time overtaken by taxis! ... only managed a total of 10 hours of actual sailing due to lack of wind and the rest of the time we motored along at a leisurely 6 miles per hour enjoying the sunshine which suited me just fine :-) However on my final day we reached 8 miles per hour and had perfect sailing conditions!! Well, we started our trip in the rain & now we are ending it in the rain....

We anchored off the coast of Amalfi which meant we had to take the tender to Amalfi where we boarded a type of local ferry to Positano[ . We just meandered through the narrow streets lined with all kinds of shops. We just stayed a very short time before reboarding the ferry back to Amalfi.
