... and the culture. It was such a quiet, clean a sombre environment that was really interesting to experience. The place was incredible and I will definitely be going back there for a longer period of time in the future.

Train to Sorrento this morning and coffee and jam croissant for breakfast. Don't know how they all stay so slim cause a typical breakfast is an espresso coffee and a pastry. Nice for a few days but gets a bit sweet after a while. I can't do the espresso though. Way too strong! Cafe latte for me. Basically they make an espresso and heat and fluff some milk, then pour the coffee into the milk. On the bus and its ...

... traffic in one direction, like we do.

However because this work is right outside the hotel we are supposed to stop at, we proceed along this narrow road until we find another hotel providing easy off road space to pull in. We then phone our hotel and P thinks they are telling us to stay where we are, they will send a "pilot driver" to show us the way. So we wait, well over 40 minutes before P calls again.
Something was lost in translation! ...

We discovered a bustling town just a block in with many shops and cafés. We explored for a long while and found a nice seafood shop selling fresh calamari. It was delicious. There is a byzantine style church that had a great bell tower. All the shops seem to sell lemoncello, lemon themed and Mediterranean items. And there were gigantic lemons everywhere. ...
