      ... entertainment" afterwards. We've met a marvelous singer, Sarah Jane Morris who performed for us along with another guest Annette Brown who is a musician, she plays the trumpet. They did several songs, very nice. And Lars was convinced to do his special version of the Swedish Chef. Annette even made a chef's hat for him. It was a fun evening.

      It has been a great week for recharging the batteries, relaxing and filling our tummies with really healthy food.

The trip to the market was the best time I have had in months, the market was huge and bustling, with everything imaginable on sale and it was a joy to get fruit, veg and honey from local suppliers instead of the poor stuff on sale at the supermarket.       ... of the small resort of Denia, which in turn is about 20 miles north of Benidorm. Here I saw my first oranges on trees!! In all my travels I don't think I have ever seen oranges on trees and they look lovely. I also got to dip my toe in the beautiful blue Mediterranean, though if I am being honest I was wearing thermal underwear, padded trousers, two sweaters and some heavy boots at the time.       ... and chocolate for breakfast which was delicious! There was a museum of the history of chocolate making and of that particular factory. After they had shown us around there we were allowed to walk through the factory but there wasn't too much to see in there. After that we went into the factory's chocolate shop where there were free samples (yummy!!) and we bought some chocolate that was made there.
