Amazing day at Ericeira and Torres Vedras
... and coloured beach restaurant was closed. luckly, we kept driving until find the restaurant "Ponto Final"...
...the restaurant was *really* nice. we had an "espetada de polvo com gambas e batatas ao murro", good wine, laughs, love and joyful moments.
after that, we went to Assenta Sul beach (also known as Porto Barril beach), where the pics were taken by Antje. we watched sunset with Reguengos wine and then we drove back to Lisbon.

The coastline is spectacular, the streets winding through the hills along it gave us views that were never to forget.Yes, you could say we've been madly in love and hopeless romantics and that has influenced our perception... You could be right - but nevertheless Ericeira and around are totally worth a trip and a few days to take in the sea, the slow life, good food and to breath in and out peacefully...

Found Paradise in Peniche!
... beside their camper- they said they'd been wild camping there for 10 days! Good enough for us for a day or so, then. How big & intricate should we make the church??
... king and queen were buried, and for which the roof was never completed. The tombs of the regals are sitting there in a beautiful structure that has absolutely no roof, as monies started to be diverted to the Age of Discovery rather than to such glorious chapels.
And of course, a trip to a beach resort must include some time on the sand! We took the time to have some refreshments on the beach and to watch ...
A walk on the wall
... br> We then finished our day at a beautiful little beach community called Nazare. We had another nice sunset, this time from our hotel room balcony, and finished the evening with a dinner of fresh sea bass and a fisherman's stew from this region. A quick walk through the now-deserted town, and it's time to get ready for tomorrow's adventures.
