    ... clear lakes. Having cleared out from the van much of our accumulated fruits, veggies and snacks, we all agreed that we had room to pick up a couple of hitch hikers heading out of Bariloche. So, we shared this gorgeous ride with an English couple, Sarah and Henry, on their 19th month backpacking through Central and South America.     ... there was nothing rapid about the bus, turning up so much later than it was due to depart. Consequently, we reached our destination in Bariloche much later than planned at around 4. This left not much time to do any activities like we wanted too as by the time we had got a taxi to the hostel and checked in it was getting late. ...

    ... any fee to make an ATM withdrawal. They probably like the idea of foreigners coming to their country and wanting to take out local currency to spend in their economies. One would think it’d be a no-brainer to support this activity. But you’d also think it’s a no-brainer to have a convenient bag recheck belt for connecting passengers at a nation’s largest international airport. Not so for both concepts here in Argentina.

    ... though we ended up treating ourselves with trips to some of the numerous cafe's and chocolate shops - for which the area is famed for.

    One of our days we spent on taking a walk around near by Lau Lau through the pine forest and up to a mirador which overlooks the lake and surrounding hills. Beautiful views and an ideal place to stop for our picnic.

    We had enjoyed our road trip around Salta so much that we thought we would do a similar thing here so ...
