      The next day we enjoyed a lazy morning in which we explored the town, which was full of souvenir and chocolate shops. That was also Benīs birthday, Ben and Shae are a lovely Aussie couple we had met in the hostel the previous evening. To celebrate he invited us out to a recommended restaurant/cerveceria, Manush, for too much food, beer and tequilla.

      Disney Bambi forest, to the Lago Escondido. Was a pleasant 4km each way stroll
      with lake views en route but surprising amount of dead bamboo in much of it.
      Saw a big wily fox on the way back and lots of loros.

      ... rapids got tougher - the Flintstones , Devils Guts & Samba all G2 or G2+, then there was another rapid that was just a grade 1 that was so calm it was not even named. Next up it was G3 - the Slide and Martin in his wisdom decided we should go down sideways!
