Or perhaps I was too distracted taking photos of the amazing structures by the sea... and just soaking it all in in whatever solitude I find away from the crowd.     ... The beach is smooth grey pebbles of varying sizes, most not bigger than a cricket ball. And the sea......smooth as a mill pond, blue and just beautiful. We walked for about 2 kms along the beachfront (and back) - beach very rocky but we now have rubber thongs so makes it much easier.
