I spent my last day in Tokyo visiting the impressive Mejji Shrine and surrounding forest. You can see in the pictures how huge the shrine gates (torji) are! It really is impressive how this enormous, peaceful, and forested area is in the middle of a bustling shopping area. And shop, I did, at the nearby Oriental Bazaar. :)
