Oh, and I mentioned that this was all mythology, right? The actual Day celebrates a certain victory during the Latvian War of Independence (1918-1920).
So on 11 November, Latvians take it upon themselves to go light a candle - either by the big castle at the riverside, or by the Monument of Freedom. And this year, to show our solidarity, some of us also lit a candle by the Ukrainian embassy.

This summer my friend,family and me going for another trip. Route : Lithuania-Poland-Slovakia-Hungary-Roman ia-Bulgaria-Greece. It's the first time we will visit Romania,Bulgaria and Greece. So this makes trip more interesting ! Only one week left so I cant wait for it ! ...
After the museum, we moved towards home. The long 12 hours drive, and at night time passed quick. The trip to Poland was very interesting to us. There are so much to see and visit, that its is not enough even lifetime.
It is nice to come back home safe and take a good rest.

Pakruojis is my native small town in the north of Lithuania. There still lives my parents, and we been visiting them. I will tell more about it in my future blogs.
Our first destination was Krakow city, so we wanted to leave quite late in the evening, because its going to be 12 hours of driving.
