... before heading off. The old house is just out of Livno (in Potocani area) in the hills. As it was only accessible by a larger car (4wd), Draz, Hamish, Claudia, Josep and Gav went with aunty to the Grgic house, while Bubba, Tomi, Lara and Isla went with Didda to the Mihalavic house (Bubba & Tomi’s family house)

There was also a concern about snakes, so everyone had to be watching out!

... accommodation at 10.30pm at the oldest hotel in Split Park Hotel. we were greeted by a wedding party with wonderful music that Sue and I sang to while we drunk a few glasses of wine before heading off to bed, music continued to 1am. Rooms were compact but comfortable and the showers were built for little people. Next morning we had a full cooked breakfast of eggs and pancetta topped off with apricot danish pastries on the balcony once again. ...

... 2 doors down was an extremely popular, traditional restaurant whose main offering was fish, and every morning as they hosed out then kitchens you left the apartment feeling like you had walked straight into a fish market! We ate there for lunch one day and were served enough fried calamari to feed 6 and the same amount of chips! Not the healthiest of meals but still worth the experience.

... It seemed to be as soon as we crossed the border to Dubrovnik area that it started, not to bad at first just thought it regular hay fever. Nothing to moan about haha! By the 4th day they were so sore and red. Attempted eye washes and drops, no luck. Following morning they were so puffy and quite swollen and just wouldn't stop irritating that it resulted in finding the a and e on the island of korcula! Rahh!!
