It's what's on the inside that counts...?
... then the Ohrid castle is pretty crappola. The outside looks quite impressive, but the inside is almost funny. It's not that it's in ruins as such, that would be another case entirely, it's more that it's a dumping ground for old vehicles and seems like a great place to house the odd shed or two. Odd (see photo below).

Ho lasciato il camper nel parcheggio di un fantomatico Museo sull'acqua e ho raggiunto in scooter il piccolo monastero di Sveti Naum, a 2 km dal confine albanese, abitato da pochi monaci ma da moltissimi pavoni. il lago qui e' di un azzuro quasi trasparente, se non ci fosse stata la neve sui monti circostanti non avrei resistito alla tentazione di un tuffo.
