    After checking out of the Solaris Resort we headed for a national park known for their waterfalls and a massive swimming area for guests.     ... down in some parts now. Walking out of the site and around 100metres right the town centre (village size really) has fresh bakery's, restaurants, small shops, supermarkets, cafes even a bank. Now what the hell else would you need on a holiday! So all in all what I'm trying to say is if you are holidaying in split....come here! :-) On to the next....kastel stari done (again) ...

    ... to travertine- a "living" stone which builds up from limestone deposits and the surrounding algae and moss. Currently the travertine at Krka is still building. I would say more but all that matters is I was in awe when I saw it ( it is days like this I dislike the colloquial use of the word "awesome" it loses its power to describe something like this).
