... very large) basement maze and served us "fresh", unfiltered beer straight from the giant wooden casks. Pretty cool. Other than that, we just "czeched" out the town square that was having some sort of fair, and ate some delicious sausages and had more of the local beverage, before catching a night bus out of town and into Munich.

... on en creuse une estie de shot si on veut une cave de garde comme ça! : O)

Après notre visite, n'ayant pas dîné, on se pointe vers 2h30 au restaurant annexé à la brasserie. C'est fermé jusqu'à 3h. Bizz... Finalement on décidé au grand dam de Joa de jeuner jusqu'à Prague. Mais, personne n'est décédé, on avait un petit stock de chips et de bonbons dans l'auto pour survivre.

... and is pretty high on Brendan's list too (Master's Dark) so it was a real shame to have to skull it. Thankfully we did make our train with moments to spare. When we returned to Prague we met up with Simon, Katy and Elliot, who had just arrived in town, for for a street food dinner and some beers back at our appartment. We also cooked up some fruit dumplings for dessert which were lovely.

... We stopped at the border for a pit stop on a grassy traffic island in the sea of abandoned concrete, barricades and buildings abandoned in the brave new world of the Euro-zone. An hour later we had navigated into Plzen, found a nice hotel in the old city, stowed our gear and started out into a blazing hot afternoon to explore.

... just isn't the same). All in all, a great way to spend an afternoon and it will be hard for the rest of the trip to stack up really. Having drunk a 'few' beers it was time to put my money where my mouth is and indulge in the Czech speciality of roast pork knee...
