    ... to Brasov - we had previously considered stopping at Rasnov Castle along the way, but our experience at Bran convinced us to skip it. That turned out to be a great decision, as Brasov definitely has its charms, and our very limited time here (just an afternoon and an evening) was barely enough to even have a taste of the city's offerings.

    ... pig slaughtered by a friend of theirs, green beans from another farm, and pickles from another friend. It was great, especially the pork. I think I have figured out the meat hierarchy - Australia has the best beef and lamb, but Europe far excels when it comes to pig. Chicken is equal takings. Fish - depends on where but Sydney > Eindhoven (obviously, closer to fresh fish).

    Tomorrow we head to Husi - an early start and a long drive ahead!
