We must have been very comfortable in our cabin beds, as we didn't get up until 9.30am! Whilst I made coffee Les took Logan on deck, it was very windy and cold, Logan wasn't too happy or sure of his surroundings, they returned to the cabin looking very windswept. After breakfast I went back on deck, Logan still wouldn't do anything. As we battled against the wind to walk around, some of the crew were hosing the deck and cleaning out the dog kennel ...

... Rosanna is a great cook so a bella Italian meal was enjoyed by all. Lovely to catch up with them also. Liam had fun playing with their 3 cats and the dog called Sally. Tempurature today only 4C, snow is predicted tomorrow for Ancona, hopefully when we get up North Liam will get his chance to see snow. We have had a wonderful time in Recanati spending a week with family, caught up on some rest, and enjoyed nice home cooked meals and comforts. Tomorrow off up North.

Life is good. Today we rode along the coast, most of it on a path just adjacent to the beach. After the last three days of hills our legs really appreciated the flat terrain. Clear blue skies with temperatures in the 70's are perfect for riding. We ended in ...

We needed to get to Zadar for 6am to catch the early morning ferry to Ancona. This meant a second attempt at sleeping all four if us in the van. This time George slept with Deb and I in the bed, with Ben in the hammock. Unfortunately we still had a terrible night's sleep, before getting up at five and trying not to wake the campsite up. Needless to say we were all a bit grotty, but cabins on the ferry meant we could relax ...
