Later on, the guys in the architect apartment offered to make us dinner, and we spent a couple of hours eating, drinking, and just chatting it up. ... bar is definitely not to be missed. The views of the volcano, castle and Capri are spectacular. The only true minus to this hotel is its lackluster Internet service. Our very nice suite had very poor reception. If we opened the door to the room, we usually could maintain a connection for a few minutes. ... that led us to believe a murder had taken place there. Not a good start to Naples. After that, we decided we had better go get the best pizza ever to make up for it. The place that was famous for it was only a 15 min walk away. We set off and were overcome with the craziness that is Naples. There was garbage everywhere and it stunk, pretty much no rules of the road with no crosswalks, so we damn near got ran over a few times. We finally made it to the world ...
... you can have any colour you want as long as it is black. A pizza and a beer is 6 Euros -- great value for the experience.
Back to the B&B to climb the million stairs to our room. In the morning we head off to take the boat to Sorrento rather than the train, Circumvesuviana. A rare good decision, as it turns, as they had a strike that day. It is considered the pickpocket train. The boat costs more but it is worth it, what a wonderful trip.
