Although the rooms were quite small and climbing up to the top bunk was rather difficult, it was definitely worth the experience. After arriving in Bonn and making friends with some other Americans at the hostel, we decided to head into the small town to explore the celebrations. ... and hundreds of horses too! Everything was so colourful and the crowd was so loud and excited, it was a great atmosphere! We stayed through the entire parade - which lasted around 5 and a half hours! - and enjoyed every minute! It was a long day, and we did get rather cold, but it was entirely worth it to experience a proper German tradition!

... maybe a ship, to set over to South America, Argentinia.
I would travel up the Americas, through Brasil and Peru, Costa Rica. I would love to travel by boat through the Carribean Sea.
Then up through Mexico, the USA and Kanada. From Alaska I woul go over the Pacific Ocean to Russia.
From there down, through Japan, maybe South Korea, China. Would love to go down to Australia, but I don't know if this will be to much.

... The Old Town was lovely but BB and I had to go thirsty when the oldese Keller in town only served beer - well we are in Germany after all.

After the walk back to our hotel we hit the hay and prepared for a busy and boiling hot next day.
