We went straight out and walked to Connaught place, a range of old British built buildings set in a circular plaza. They have lots of western shops. Everyone seems so busy and urgent - stall owners who sell handmade bangles from a makeshift wooden cart still have such pride in their work and regularly sweep the street around their stall to make it look a bit more tidy. They sweep the street... and 30 mins later, they're doing it again because some more litter and dust has blown around. Everyone grafts here - it's just what you have to do.
