... that were a lot more conservative than what I would wear in Australia but appropriate I thought for India. Next we took the car to the computer place where I left my laptop hoping that it would be there when we returned, I wasn't sure how trustworthy the technicians were but was impressed when they got me to sign my memory chips, my hard drive and my battery so that I could make sure that after they took the computer apart they put the same pieces back together.

Idli are a traditional southern Indian dish that are like fluffy rice pancakes. I haven't tried the traditional kind but I definitely liked this version, with a spiced yogurt dipping sauce. Developers are trying to address this problem also. To counter this, some real estate companies have offered to pay EMI for six months to buyers, if the buyer or his/her spouse were to lose his/her job. The logic for this is that within that period the buyer/spouse may get another job. As ...

Having the entire kitchen to ourselves, we started poking around and Rebecca actually found an old box of oatmeal in a cupboard. It looked like something that had been purchased for some previous guest and then forgotten. (growing up, my kitchen had dozens of those items spread around) So she cooked up a nice bowl of oatmeal in the microwave while ...

New Delhi, India sista_eve... TINY tiny room in the same neighbourhood. This room was literally 50 square feet, a 5 foot by 10 foot cell. But, it was clean, we had our own entrance (independent), and the coup de grace, cable TV! We had no choice, so we moved in there. However, later that evening as I was returning from my Hindi class I got a frantic call from a happy Priyanshu. "Come home quick!" he said. "I've found another place, it is so good, so good ...
