... It was a Malaysian buffet with a BBQ as well so a great way for us to try all the traditional foods. We went to get showered beforehand so we had at least made a little effort. The food was some what interesting and very different to what were used to, they had some nice things, some average and a lot disgusting. Other than the giant statue there was nothing else to this area so we set off and headed to the cable car to get a view of the island.

... to say that there are monkeys chilling at the side of the roads, which is cool. Also that there are proper roads, haha! We arrived at the hotel in near darkness, and we left in darkness this morning too so we can't really tell you what the grounds looked like, but it was all set quite deep into the surrounding jungle/forest and all pretty much made entirely of wood. We were driven to our room (everything was spread over a really big area) and went in to ...
