... We find a little café on the ground floor and treat the kids to a scone each (much to their relief) and order a spicy noodle salad for ourselves. Wow, a seriously hot and delectable bowl of tastiness arrives and we devour it greedily. We also spot a noisy machine spitting out huge rice cakes. There are several little pots on the table for tasting the different flavours, so we taste each one before deciding on the original prawn cracker ...

... thank goodness we managed to get tickets from him. They cost RM60 (£15) each for the 2hr ferry crossing to Langkawi.
