From Rotterdam on the ferry, slight hiccup over where we were supposed to be picked up from, rainy Hull, taxi ride, walk around some shops and an emergency phone purchase...we eventually made it to Beverley. The most unexpected thing happened, Andree loved it! I began looking at my home town from the perspective of a tourist, and I suppose I loved it too. "Take a photo, take a photo" she said, " what of?" was my confused reply. ...

... After a stressful match with lots of opportunities to score for Belgium but with an amazing American goalkeeper it went to supplementary time. And yes after 10 min the Belgians finally scored, funny thing was that as it was after midnight the guard had told the bar owner to mute the tv. I've never seen people cheering and shouting without making any noise, pretty hilarious !! :-) The Belgians scored again and everything seemed to go ...

We had a nice conversation with the owner of Ruby’s ...

... back to Los Escullos. We passed a few old wells that used donkeys to turn the wheel to bring up the water which would then travel down small aqueducts. The coast line is beautiful with turquoise sea lapping at the base of the cliffs.

I had to do some washing this evening - whilst on the walk and having seen nobody else for hours, I was surprised by a mountain biker whilst using my she-wee. Don’t ask!

    Weather: Mucho Scorchio

We packed up and headed to San Jose. The campsite was easy to find and is lovely, shaded by eucalyptus trees. We had a walk around the small marina this afternoon and then went for our first sunbathe on the beach. I wore my new bikini for the first time.

After about 10 minutes I was bored, couldn't get comfy to read my book, covered ...
