We had a real treat on our final day of the Festival. A friend of mine, Andrew Joy, who has been Principal Horn in the Cologne Radio Orchestra for many years, agreed to drive down to give the students a master class. Things have moved very quickly here; with performances every night there are lots of rehearsals, horn classes, and individual lessons. Breakfast this morning traditional Moies Iessen, cheeses, salami, lovely fresh rolls, sweet rolls, breads, Pain Au Chocolat, Eights, Croissants, Escargots, and of course jams and Nutella. Bon Appetit.
