Had a bit of a wander around the property after breakfast listening to the family's involvement with it. They started the house from the top down, put on a new roof, walled in the second storey, and created two bedrooms, kitchen, living, and bathroom on the first floor so that it could be lived in by the family. I started the day off at 6am today, arriving at the hostel after a disgusting overnight train from Czech Republic. The seats were horribly thin and old and virtually the whole carriage was empty so not only was it cold, it was really eerie! I expect ghosts were sat next to me throughout most of the journey.
