After watching it, Staci and I went downstairs to meet Aaron for the event, which we thought ended at 6pm. Turns out it didn't end at 6 but started at 530 (really started around 7 as 'ontime' doesn’t happen in India) and was Amazon.in's second birthday. Upon touring the floor, snapped a couple photos then realized we were standing in the middle of what felt ...

... hopeful of finding something. I can't lie though, at this point I was starting to get a little discouraged. Katie and I walked down to Hypercity and asked them if they had nose rings. Of course the answer was no. We thought to go and check the mom and pop shop that now is within the store. We have bought things form there before and assumed they would have jewelry. There was nothing to lose since we were literally right there.  I asked the man behind the counter if he ...

    Home Sweet Home

A travel blog entry by tbs1298 on Jan 02, 2014

We arrived in Hyderabad and pulled up to our hostel/ dorm a little after midnight. The campus is pretty big. It seemed really pretty also. ( Sayantan and Mitaja picked us up and at this point I thought they were just picking us up, I didn't realize they would become such good friends. ) We were assigned our rooms and settled in. Jacci and I originally were not paired together but we all decided to stay with the people we had been with for the tour. Works for me! ...
