... bad. I am REALLY stiff from all that sitting though, and sitting seems to be the plan from now until we arrive in Lyon. I am going to love finally getting out, breathing some fresh air, and walking around the city. I was planning to get Euro at an ATM and maybe get some food, but the machine ate someone's card so I got paranoid and changed my mind. ... staff was super nice, I guess one of them was a bit confused when she handed us our room cards - we found ourselves in the room of a young pilot a couple of minutes later who wanted us to invite for drinks while we waited to get a new room. Fortunately, we could resolve the issue immediately and found ourslves in a lovely and spacious room. ... Top form pricks. After breakfast we realised that our tickets allowed us free entry into the first class lounge at the station, so we headed in and relaxed there with free drinks. I noted that free alcohol was not accessible till after 11, so I'll make sure that next time I'm taking a train out, it'll be well after then to take advantage of this. ... headed straight for the railway station. It's great that they've got a full-blown railway station at the airport whereas in Australia it's just a means of getting into the city. I opted for an all around Germany ticket to get to Berlin.
