      ... is dirt cheap. It was a great find.

      We came back to the hostel and watched some of the French Open highlights from the tennis today and then the rain forced them to stop as well. Apparently it's raining all over Europe now. Stupid rain. I spent the rest of tonight chilling here and I'm hoping for better weather tomorrow. I'm also hoping to get into the city center to take some pictures tomorrow night, but that will also be weather dependant. Fingers ...

      Or as I prefer to think of it, the Belvedont. This palace has been converted to an art gallery. Not exactly an art fan myself. The grounds themselves were quite large but being winter there was not much to look at. All the hedges were hibernating and the fountains had been drained. It would probably be nicer in summer.       ... across Austria and 5 other eastern block countries before coming out in the Black Sea. The section we rode really is made for riding with paths and apparently 300,000 visitors per summer. It was a perfect easy end to the Austrian foray with good company including the incredibly generous Sepp and Andrea from Linz who had a kiwi connection in titahi bay.       ... with cameras from clicking away with their flashes ignoring the signs asking otherwise. Quiet reflection doesn't pay as much as masses of tourists I suppose.

      The beggars and spruikers were out the front and there were masses of people milling about in the square and we wandered about clicking away at all the Christmas lights.
