      ... videos on the couple of TVs hanging from the ceilings and the range of songs has been impressive, Footloose, to Celine Dion’s Titanic song, to some of Aventura’s Bachata. I was told it is a 9 hour journey from the border to the capital. We just stopped for lunch (I had some speghetti type pasta, giant balls of potatoes and onions, a cucumber salad, and a weird red punch drink) and of course the bus driver honked 1 minute into the start of the USA vs. Belgium game! :-/

      ... it and lowered it , got the rubbish to take and a water container, then Andrew came over and offered me a ride in his dinghy. We went to the fish depository and I chose fillets of Dorado from a massive fish, as tonight an Italian boat is leving and we're having a small pot luck party.
      Tony has done a number of jobs today, moving the generator,fixing the faulty solar panels and making a mess! Too hot now so having a cold shower ...

      ... of the way back to the car, filled with excitement and gratitude for all that Osa and William had offered that night.

      We were more sad to leave the Osa Peninsula than any other place so far. The sheer joy of knowing that our next stop would include the convergence of my entire family for the holidays made it much easier to tear ourselves away, with a promise that we would definitely return someday.

      3 days in the jungle Friday Our guide, Roger came to meet us last night to make sure we had everything for the trek and what not to take to keep the weight down. he and his family live on the edge of the jungle and he seems a nice lad, i say lad as i thought he was about 20 turns out hes 31 married with a child. up at 4.40am left the room and "someone" left their wallet inside and had to ring an emergency telephone number to get a guy out of bed and bring a replacement ...
