... to find a way through but it wasn't going very well... Mike and Erika started to turn around and Cortney was about to follow them when I yelled back and asked where they were going. I told them I was going to explore through this archway past the wall. They all got very excited that I had found a way through and turned to follow me! But really I was just hiding in a tiny alcove where there was a ...

... the waitress say it about 5 times for me, and I'm still not 100% sure how the heck it's pronounced), that was so delicious! It was turkey and mushrooms in a cream sauce with rice and salad, and I loved it. I also had a wonderful grapefruit and cranberry soda, that I wish I could drink every day. We found a couple of small open air markets, sampled some fig and raisin bread, and discovered a massive cathedral. How the heck are there so many ...

He's stationed over here in the Air Force, and I haven't really spent time with him since my freshman year of college, what with his deployments and my travels, so it was really fantastic to be able to spend some quality time reconnecting. We explored a castle and a large German grocery store that was really fun, ...

... team fans were separated from everyone else and essentially in a caged area so that no fights could break out. I also saw police in riot gear walking around! Kaiserslautern won 3-1 and I was right in there standing and cheering them on and booing the bad calls. Definite trip highlight! After that it was back to the hotel to watch South Park in German and then to sleep.

Tomorrow we will be stopping in Munich before leaving Germany behind for Austria!
Gute Nacht!
