Made a short stop in Bebai just outside of Saporro so Thom could have a few private moments with the plane, but not before the gaggle of reporters and photographers waiting for us to land got their interviews. They were the quietest, politest reporters I've ever seen, almost reluctant to ask questions. And some never uttered a word. ... Bay where we could almost not find our hotel, but it was beautifully located on a small hill overlooking the Matsushima bay with the small islands.

We immediately were exploring the island that was accessible by the bridge and to capture some of the pictures when the sun was setting.

The hotel and onsen were really nice and the meal was excellent. All variety of sea food nicely prepared overlooking the bay -- just nice
