... a wax crayon because I wasn't giving her enough attention! We gave a certificate at the end of the lesson simply to the child that had been the quietest! I also saw some interesting school discipline which involved one boy being grabbed by the ear, given a harsh talking to and then being slapped across the back of the head. I didn't feel comfortable with it personally, but that's probably just the way that I have been told to behave-hey who am I to question their methods?
