A little later we were coming back from a quick visit to the quickie mart, and there is this couple getting into a car, she got in the back seat and he got in the front just like a "driver". ... que les affiches étaient écris en Japonais la majorité du temps. De plus le château était magnifique.

À deux pas de là, il y avait le jardin Korakuen qui était un peu moins beau que celui de la veille à Takamatsu mais j'y ai passé un très beau moment. En plus, j'ai pu voir des grues japonaises. Que c'est beau.

I managed to make the expensive JR Pass equal a saving just with my 4 trips: Tokyo-Hiroshima, Hiroshima-Osaka, Osaka-Kyoto and Kyoto-Tokyo. However in hindsight I could have just bought a one week pass rather than 2. As a tip: It’s not really economical to use it in Tokyo when you realise that half the lines aren’t JR and therefore are not covered. Also, ...

Then, the time to leave Hiroshima. We took a bullet train to Shin-Osaka, then another bullet train to Tokyo. It took only about 4 hours to travel odd 800km. Well done Shinkansen!


The happiest thing happened today was to see my grandmother for the first time in 1 year and 10 months. I had heard that she was not doing well on the phone so I was glad to be able to see her again.
