... southerly route straight down to Adana. At that point I realised there would be no shame in using that and after a bit more resting took off. It was a welcome sight coming down out of the clouds and seeing some flatter straighter roads, but this all makes me want to go back again in good weather for some fun tearing along without fear of slipping off at every corner.

Short hop to Ankamall shopping centre. Need some boot laces and biros. It's like Nottingham's Victoria Centre but without the asylum seekers. Not very busy and has the usual UK shops including an M&S.
Visit Haci Bayrami Camii mosque - he being a Muslim saint who founded a dervish order. It's 15th Century and seemingly a place of pilgrimage given the amount of people milling about including a long queue ...
... Not a tourist town so not alot to see. A BIG mosque, a Roman stone bridge and not much else. But seen them, walked the riverbank, bit of the market thats open and rested. Street food really cheap so fattening up.
Not alot of English spoken so a bit harder to get around. Managing though as it's all pretty tame after Africa. The price is the price. There is no need to bargain and they don't seem to want to take advantage of you and overcharge.
