We biked up to Altea old town to see the church with blue tiled roof. Beautiful from the outside but not so good inside. The surrounding streets were full of artisan shops and a few small cafe's with excellent coffee. Bikes down again and along the front for lunch but found ...

    ... we are now.

We were pleased to find some lovely changes in the center, most importantly improved internet. Good enough that I can actually write my blog from my room. In rural Spain sometimes even cell signals are elusive, so good speed internet can be a miracle!

I love clearing out ponds, cutting back gorse and taking trees down, so I decided to do a bit of 'ranger work' whilst on the new caravan site. On leaving the site really early to go to Valencia, I managed to back the motorhome into a tree and completely demolished it. It ...

... the town which we walked up to and there were little shops and cafes outdoors on the cobbled streets.

We went into the castle which was now a museum and walked around. It turns out that it was a bit of a family mansion and there were old antiques from when they lived there. We could walk up onto the top of the castle and there was a graveyard on the roof and there were views out over the mountains and a lake and the fields. We then had some nice ...
