... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.

FIRST MONTH IN RIVA... Woah, time goes by so fast apparently!! ha ha
Today is my lazy day.. kind of. Yesterday I worked a lot on my research project that's due tomorrow (Friday). I always get really nervous when it comes to talking in front of the class, giving speeches (even though I know people don't listen/pay attention too much, but being in front of the class drives me nuts).
Today was one of the most physically demanding and most rewarding days of my life! My Riva family and I went on a hike to the top of Monte San Giorgio, one of two mountains that creates the valley that Riva sits inside. Daniela led us on this hike which was two and half hours both way.
