The bus drivers have very strict regulations that are enforced, so we had two pit stops along the way. We arrived in Pisa around lunch time, where we were given an intro to Pisa and set loose. The first two fights of stairs were stone, no dramas. But the in the tower itself the old staircase has been replaced with a metal ...
... and two zany sisters who ran the shop. One of the sisters went on and on about earthquakes and a new way to predict them. Walked across the street to the restaurant and had a wonderful dinner. We had prosciutto and bruschetta to start, then ravioli for me and steak and spinach for Jim. Really delicious.
Came back to the hotel and finished watching "Under the Tuscan Sun". A perfect movie to watch in Florence. Bedtime. More ...
