... friend Guiseppe who said will walk me around Pisa. He was there at the station to receive me. We both took a stroll around the Farmers market and I was so tempted to shop. But I also knew I was going very heavy on my baggage and I had to save all of that for some shopping in Rome. Guiseppe was kind enough to tell me the history of pisa and its neighbouring towns at length and it was interesting. We walked so much and I was a bit tired but the stories ...
... back towards the station across the filthy Arno River and through the streets stinking of urine. Box ticked and photos taken for history to see Pisa is not a place I would return to and not one I would really recommend, it feels as if the city has been forgotten and it simply relies on the Tower to bring in the daily requirement of money spenders.
