A couple of good reasons for heading out to the far west are that we have never been to this part of Spain and this is the area where they produce Abariņo wine, one of Jo's favourites. Unlike the south this is very green as it is kept cooler and wetter by the Atlantic weather systems.

Today, we left Santiago heading for the coast on three days to Finisterre. Short day today of about 14 miles. Nice walk except for one steep hill but it is the last steep hill.

... eye caught sight of several in a car park of all places .....next to a still open bar.
There is a God after all.I parked up and left my companions to their reminiscing and I darted in to the bar which was more of a restaurant but once the tap was located my long drive was soon forgotten.
