... four guests on plastic chairs and tables surrounded by pot plants and cats in aunty's dusty back garden. Food was just bought straight out (no menus). There were four different dishes - of which, one coconutty chicken one was not way too spicy for Bardy to try. He happily gobbled it down with plenty of boiled rice and apart from some terrifying geese, which forced us to play Peppa Pig on the iPad to sedate Bardy, it was a lovely and authentic ...

Everyone is in a bit of a mood, due to failed travel plans, absence of beer/wine....we spend the evening online, with super slow internet to workout a plan B to travel to our eestination (jungle)....The answer is 10hours by harder for plan C......and sneak to the hotel room where we have a bottle of Bombey Sapphire in the suitcase.

... than an arms length away and for 20 seconds or so (everything happened in slow motion, like it would do if this was a film) we swam together, just me and Geoff (he looked like a Geoff) and another guy who was doing some underwater photography. ... boats mid-sea (an interesting experience in which two men just try and hold the boats together!) we were off on our rather packed boat along the bumpy sea. ... We had some excellent BBQ buffets, watched a movie on the beach one night and spent most days snorkelling in the crystal clear water. We saw turtles and lots of coloured fish which was really cool, and reminded me of my trip to the Great Barrier Reef.
