... Bay but without the water of course. At 7.30am we pull into one of the few stations on the route, Gua Musang, dominated by huge sheer limestone cliffs with great holes in their rocks as if made by some giant limestone cliff-pecker. The cliffs are a sight to behold. The town isn't.

... were so clear and crisp and bright. The next day we woke to the aftermath of a storm, which meant a wavy sea. Not big waves, but big enough for you to dive under (as in YOU, not me, oh no no no bloody way mate!) and try and surf on (but they never got that far as the waves where quite weak). ... the sunbathing so took a stroll all the way down to the rocky end of the beach, harassed some sizeable crabs, and then wandered back up, hoping I would catch a bit of sun whilst walking. I found Dan sunbathing in the shallows of the bath...I mean sea (sea here also ridiculously warm - according to Dan's dive watch a balmy 33C) so joined him to (kind of) cool down a bit. ... to have some lunch, buy some flip flops, and book a snorkelling trip for the following day. The snorkelling trip was well and truly one of the highlights of the last four months.
