        ... the way we talked about both our families, where they are from and what we know. Like in many communities in Poland this town had been 90% Jewish. You would not know it, only 70 years later!!! We found a map of the city once we entered and on there were 2 Jewish stars, one which indicated where the synagogue was and one where the cemetery was. Now to try and find them.
        Well we did and we believe the pictures below identified the areas we found.

        ... quite sad to see it not attended to. It was really interesting to see. We made a quick stop at Krasnobrod but didn't go in the church as people were just leaving a service. Back in Bilgoraj we visited an ambitious development of a village/retail area that would have that old town feel. It would be great to see it finished.         ... gentleman. He shouted us coffee and cafe at a lovely restaurant. We chatted about postcards and his other collections. One of which is collecting jokers from packs of cards. We had never heard of such a collection before. After Kristoff left we had a lovely meal at the same restaurant. Our next stop was Zwierzyniec.         ... camp but were transported here from others. We decided not to go to the crematorium as we have seen that before at Auschwitz and found it extremely disturbing. We only walked down half of the site which was huge. Only a handful of barracks have been preserved but there is a double fence and towers giving the feel for the scale.
