... many of us who finished off our bottles over the course of the night. I ended up staying up pretty late talking to a Kiwi, Craig. <br><br>Other comments I have. The tents are quite nice and they look VERY durable which is particularly important. We divided into cook crews and I somehow ended up on two. Weird, the North American group (me plus my Canadians) put me on theirs and Pete and Craig thought I was going to be with them. I decided to stay with ...
Gibraltar, Gibraltar lenahoff... No words or pictures could fully capture the essence of this city, you just have to be there to fully experience its beauty. I then explored the city, going to places that are not commonly visited by tourists, I did some shopping, had a beer and tapas at a small restaurant and then walked through the park. Unfortunately, the day was cut short due to time restrictions and I did not have the chance to do everything I wanted to do but I will definitely be back.

Gibraltar, Gibraltar andrewsinclair... a quick Burger King, meeting the bus at 17.30 and heading back to the campsite for chicken fajitas and some cartons of the cheap but surprisingly yummy wine. Jamie developing quite a liking and resulting in him being unable to sit on the camp stool let alone stand up. Thankfully we called it quits before getting to that stage and retired to bed to snuggle into our nice soft pillows hoping for a better night's sleep.
Gibraltar, Gibraltar oliveramberTo Girbalter. We got to see the Barbary apes and one even got on my head!!! I hope I can upload a picture! It was amazing. You can see Spain and Africa at the same time from the top of the rock of Gibralter. A taxi driver took us to the tip top. Then we went to the local fire birgade and ate lunch at the Gibralter Fire Brigade Social Club. YUMMY ...
Gibraltar, Gibraltar haleydgreer... all the glass window through out the airport. My flight left 4hrs earlier than everyone else, so I had to rush through to get to the next gate. It is a huge airport so it took quite some time to get to the gate. Also Lisette wanted to get on to my flight so we didn't have much time. Unfortunately Lisette wasn't able to get on my flight, so I was on my own until the rest of ...
Estepona, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands krys1124... on their shoulders, the tour guide would simply snap and they would be on any shoulder in a second for a peanut. He got a real kick out of throwing peanuts down girls shirts while they took pictures of with monkeys on their shoulders. They would reach right down the girl's shirts to find that peanut. Most of them laughed but some didn't think it was so funny. I personally was not interested actually touching the monkey's, a picture next to one was fine for me.
Gibraltar, United Kingdom gibby186x... for getting up and surfing. I hope that the beaches back home aren't as crowded with kites as these so he can keep it up. Tarifa town is a cute little place as well, sitting at the eastern end of the beach/bay. Aside from the 50 or so kite-surfing schools there's a couple of Spanish language schools, a nice selection of ...
Tarifa n', Gibraltar technotrekkerAhh, Gibraltar. I definetly recommend travelling here. I was delighted to discover that everyone here speaks English. I almost had a heart attack when I found a big, well-stocked English bookstore (yes, I am I big nerd). Today I went to the top of the Rock of Gibraltar, and it was very beautiful. I escaped off the tourist path and managed to get quite close to the monkeys, and even managed to take a picture when one jumped on me from behind ...
