Yet another trip on the bus, this time to Mt Fuji, which is only about two hours from Tokyo.

We were so thrilled when we saw Mt Fuji on our way to Tokyo, as we had met a few travellers who had gone to see Mt Fuji and saw nothing but clouds. We felt that even if we only got clouds this time, we had at least seen the mountain top.

Well, we ended up seeing both the peak and the masses of clouds that seem to circle the mountain for hours on ...

I managed to get the boys up and moving early this morning. We wanted to spend some time at the sumo wresting tournament before we had to head over to Mt Fuji. Ate them in a random hotel's restaurant and no one cared, although got a cheeky beer from ...

... 2 1/2 hours of smooth travel on a comfy warm train. Once in to Tokyo, we navigate our way on a local line back out of town, this was easy and simple and needed a quick swap of trains to keep going on the same line. Knowing this was easy we went to find some lunch, oh dear the B1 of Daimaru came in handy again and we discovered some delicious salads in one counter. We got a cabbage based pork salad and a rare beef salad. After we ensured that the lady ...
